CLIMB!

Mark Daughtridge climbed Mt Kilmanjaro in support of RCND

“I climbed Kilimanjaro in support of the Religious Coalition because harm to anyone harms all. No person is disposable. We heal together and together reduce future suffering one step at a time. Nonviolence is a process, like climbing, that requires relationships, preparation, perseverance, and an unshakeable vision.”

Since returning home Mark has enjoyed not traveling for a few weeks, exploring a couple of caves, and of course continued work for social justice, attending vigils, helping neighbors including some homeless friends, and working actively to elect the best champions of non violence and social justice we could find.

RCND helps communities climb beyond the impact of crime and violence, and Mark D dedicated his climb of Kilimanjaro in August 2016 to help spread the word about our mission and raise funds to support it. Ask us about having Mark come share the inspirational story with your group!
